"This Mindfulness for Children course is amazing! So much content, and a lot more than mindfulness. Elizabeth is really going above and beyond my expectations, every time. I can tell how passionate she is about spreading the power of mindfulness and kindness. The course teaches us as teachers/parents how to practice mindfulness ourselves, but also how to teach kids. I recommend this course to anyone looking to grow their own practice and grow mindful and kind kids."

Michelle Arscott

The International Kids Life coach 2020 Stevie Gold Coach of the Year - Mental Wellness

I would highly recommended this mindfulness course. Word of mouth is very important nowadays as more and more mindfulness courses appear on the market. This course was recommended by another colleague-who really raved about it.

I had already done a previous mindfulness practitioner course and I have been teaching mindfulness to children for a while. I did wonder how much new information I would obtain from doing another course.

I was pleasantly surprised by what I did learn from the 8 week online course. Not only did I learn more things about the teaching of mindfulness to children but I also learnt a lot about my own mindfulness practice.

The great thing about the course is that you can clearly see Elizabeth’s passion for mindfulness and children’s mental wellbeing. Additionally, you see the depth of Elizabeth’s experience and her knowledge.

Also, Elizabeth will go that extra mile for you through the mentor sessions and FB course page. She gave me extra support in my niche areas of mindfulness and trauma and mindfulness with teens, which was above and beyond the course content.

This course is really worth the investment and is delivered in an online friendly version, which keeps it interesting. A mixture of videos over 30 ones recorded by Elizabeth, a workbook and access to a 10 week mindfulness programme and many other useful materials. Including articles, activities, practical assignments, quizzes and meditations created by Elizabeth.

As a teacher trainer/ mentor I actually think that every primary and EYFS teacher should be doing this course as part of their basic teacher training - and hopefully one day that will be the case.

Imagine what that would mean in regards to the positive impact on children’s mental healthiness and the world. Now more than ever we should be prioritising children’s mental wellness.

From enrollment you will have 12 months to complete the course and after this time you are welcome to submit a letter requesting an extension to recieve more time to complete the course.

How difficult are the quizzes and assignments?

The quizzes and assignments are not difficult. The quizzes are a way to consolidate your learning and you have a couple of assignments to put your learning into action. Additionally, your assignments are an opportunity to discover and develop your own style.

Do you offer refund?

We have a 48 hour cooling off period for our no questions asked refund policy. This refund is for people that have not logged into the course and looked through the course content (this course has copyright). Please be sure that you want to do this course before you register.

Do you provide guided meditations?

Yes. I give you enough to give you the understanding you need to learn a variety of meditation styles - without turning your own practice into a listening exercise. To truly gain insight one must learn to meditate without external guidance. Formal mindfulness of breath practice needs to develop through your own ability to concentrate and stay focused. If you only listen to guides you will never reach the heights that a true practice can help you achieve. In saying that, I do provide more guided practices within the private group for those that feel they need them.

How long will I need to spend meditating each day?
As the course progresses so too will the time you spend experiencing some of the various practices. However, you only need to try them as a way of finding your own favourite style of meditation. In this course you will be asked to establish a routine of a minimum of 5 minutes of formal mindfulness of breath practice, two or three times a day. If you can do this, you will have established a powerful little practice for yourselves. Additionally, you will learn to bring informal mindfulness into everyday living. And it will be your daily breath work (spread throughout the day) that will rewire your brain and give you the anchor you need to continuously re-establish your mindfulness, or present moment awareness.
Why do the reviews say the course is so much more than just mindfulness?

I have completed an honours degree in psychology. My thesis topic was on improving wellbeing through the use of mindfulness and sound. The course is based in a psychological understanding of creating ways of flourishing within yourself and our children. This includes understanding why you think the way you do and how to cultivate better ways of thinking. Additionally, you will also learn a variety of different styles of meditation to take your understanding of mindfulness to the next level. Moreover, you will also learn about sound and our connection with it, sacred geometry, the minds eye, transcendence, etc. I have been practicing mindfulness and various forms of meditation for a very long time. My journey has also included a great deal of informal study, contemplative meditation, and fasting for spiritual advancement. I have created this course to share my knowledge with you - to also empower YOU towards gaining enlightenment.

Do you offer scholarships?

Yes. We offer a very limited number of partial scholarships to students from developing countries. This indivduals have demonstrated that they are truly low income and also currently demonstrating that they are passionate about teaching and caring for children. If you are not living in a developing countries we have a very affordable payment plan available.

Who is this course for?

All you need to register for this course is a passion for watning to teach mindfulness to children. This course is available to all. This includes childcare educators, school teachers, health therapists and people wanting to begin a new career as a Mindfulness For Children Practitioner.

What is the KOTUS Method

The KOTUS Method philosophy maintains that to improve the wellbeing of our children we must first ensure the teacher (or parent) is well educated, inspired and developed, not only for teaching the subject but in a way that promotes mindfulness, meditation, self-care and flourishing within themselves. And it is from this ability of belonging, being and becoming that the teacher (or parent) gains true personal insight to live and teach from.

The KOTUS Method achieves this outcome through providing research based knowledge on the science of oneness. Additionally, learning the KOTUS Method internal compass gives individuals the ability to reach within themselves and count on themselves for making the right decisions for moving forward in life.
