3 Week Lesson Building Course

Apply what you have learned after completing the 8 week level 1 teacher training to deliver your own mindfulness sessions within science, math, English, physical education and/or art.

This course includes a private mentoring session to discuss your lessons plans before you hand in your first draft.

Each week you will hand in a draft copy of your lesson plan for assessment. Once feedback is received you are to create the final draft of the lesson plan for final assessment.

After 4 weeks you will have created four mindfulness based lesson plans for a particular curriculum (e.g, Science, math, English, physical education, and/or art).

Prerequisite: Must have completed the childcare teacher training.

I have over 30 years experience in practicing mindfulness, meditation and various forms of movement. I also have a Bachelor of Psychological Science (Honours), Psychology, Second Class, Division A (2006 – 2015) from Central Queensland University. For my honours degree I completed a two part thesis in mindfulness, wellbeing and sound.
